John R. Nordlund, M.D., PhD

John R. Nordlund, M.D., Ph.D. is a former University of Virginia School of Medicine Faculty Member who has fellowship training in Medical Retina from the Mayo Clinic and Glaucoma from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Dr. Nordlund came to Williamsburg to open his practice in 2005 and recently joined Mid-Atlantic Eyecare in May of 2022.

Dr. Nordlund is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist specializing in Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Retinal tears, Retinal vascular disease, & Visual Field loss.

Dr. Nordlund enjoys cooking and likes to spend his free time biking, boating, and taking photos in his free time.
